The owners of this house decided to renovate instead of moving. This late 80s ranch no longer fit their lifestyle. It needed some updating and reconfiguring. The homeowners wanted to make the space more open and create a better flow. The living room was never used because of the wall separating it from the family room. We added prefinished oak flooring to warm up the kitchen and family room. The cabinets are maple. The plant window really helped make the sink area more open and enjoyable. The master bedroom was too small. So we moved the wall over without losing the next door bedroom. It created a walk in closet that could be used as a nursery by another homeowner.
