Projects :: Deck Cedar
This Old West Side porch clearly needed some help. It was literally falling off the house. The new deck is made from Western Red and Yellow cedar. There is railing all around the upper deck. It gives kids a safe place to play. The king posts were all built on site. The stairs and upper landing have hidden lighting that comes on automatically at night when you approach them. The seating area has a separate set of low voltage lights for nighttime parties. All the stair lights can be turned on and off manually from inside the house as well as from the bottom step. The new space serves as a new outdoor room for the whole family.
